cre824 Pre-Selection Competition

The cornerstone of the cre824 Festival is the pre-selection competition for the finals in 2008. Globally known as a "Webjam", teams of four contestants will enter the cre824 Design Arena to begin a 24-hour competition to determine who will represent the United States in the ultimate international web design competition. During the non-stop 24-hour contest, amateur and professional web designers from all over the globe will concurrently go head to head in a unique multimedia creation contest.

Via a global video feed connecting the competing countries, the teams will be simultaneously informed of the competition theme, and will be given 24 hours to design, build, test and implement a functional website utilizing interactive media. The amateur and professional teams that are victorious in the cre824 Pre-Selection Competition will represent the United States in the grand finale featuring the most talented web designers on the planet.
